The world of Clash of Clans never stays the same for long, and the April 2024 update brings another thrilling update that promises to enhance your gaming experience. This new update introduces several new features and improvements that will excite both old and new players alike.
From improved Clan interactions to new troop levels and quality of life enhancements, the developers at Supercell have shared an array of updates through the game’s official YouTube channel. Let’s delve into the details of what this COC’s Temperamental Tentacles update has to offer.
Clash of Clans April 2024 Update Breakdown
First, a new feature called Clan Tagging has been introduced. This tool allows Clan Members to tag fellow Members, Leaders, Co-Leaders, or the entire Clan in Clan Chat. If you ever needed to remind someone to complete their attack in the Clan War League, tagging them directly could be the solution. However, if you prefer fewer notifications, you have the option to turn off Clan Chat notifications in the Settings menu.
Another significant addition is the increase in the number of Troops you can donate at one time. Now, players can donate up to 50 Wall Breakers to their Clanmates, supporting larger and more powerful attacks in wars.
New Pet: Angry Jelly
The update introduces a new Pet called the Angry Jelly, exclusively for Town Hall 16. This Pet resembles a real-life jellyfish with a twist, possessing the ability to attach to any Hero and support them by targeting Defenses from a distance. While attached, the Angry Jelly cannot be hit or harmed, nor does it activate traps. However, once the Hero falls, Angry Jelly will act like a normal Troop and can be targeted and harmed.
Upgrades and New Levels
Town Hall 16 sees various upgrades with this update. A leak, humorously revealed by the Community Manager on TikTok, confirmed that new levels are available for several Buildings, Defenses, Pets, and Troops. Additionally, all Walls can now be upgraded to level 17, providing stronger defenses for your village.
Quality of Life Improvements
The COC’s April 2024 update also brings several quality of life improvements. Notably, the introduction of Star Bonus multipliers to Ores and the availability of Defensive Layouts in the Builder Base enhance gameplay efficiency and customization. Additionally, changes to Clan Wars now include Hero Equipment in matchmaking criteria, alongside the usual Town Hall levels, and new War sizes (35 vs 35 and 45 vs 45) are enabled, offering more flexibility and challenge.
