Cassette Beasts is an open-world monster-collecting RPG that injects a dose of retro charm into the familiar formula. Developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, the game transports you to the vibrant island of New Wirral. Here, fantastical creatures roam free, and the key to battling and befriending them lies in a surprisingly old-school technology: cassette tapes. Initially launched for PC and consoles, the recent announcement by the publishers has confirmed that Cassette Beasts will be arriving to Android and iOS platforms.
Gameplay And Features
The gameplay concept bears resemblance to the popular franchise Pokemon, but with a unique twist: instead of Pokeballs, players use a cassette recorder to capture monsters. Quite intriguing, don’t you think? Once captured, you can transform into these creatures yourself, gaining access to their unique abilities in turn-based battles.
