CRL, or Clash Royale League, is getting another season of endless battles and limitless entertainment. CRL 2024 will feature the best Clash Royale players in the world battling it out for a chance to win the championship title and a share of the prize pool. Following last year’s success, the format for this year is not going to be changed. Supercell has announced that it will include the finalists of the monthly qualifiers, the golden ticket winners, and much more, just like last year.
CRL 2024 League Format
The grandest stage will have only eight finalists in the CRL 2024 World Finals, reducing half the number from the previous season. There are multiple ways to reach the finale, and here’s what you need to know.
The first way to get entry into the grand finale is to win the Monthly Qualifiers, which will be conducted five times every month from April to August. To participate in the Monthly Qualifiers, you need to finish within the top 1,000 players of the PoL season that ends on the 1st of April. Then, each month, the top eight players will qualify for a monthly final, where one winner will be chosen. Thus, five winners from the monthly qualifiers will move on to the grand stage.
Additional Qualification Paths:
CRL Points Leaderboard: The player with the most points at the end of the season (excluding Golden Ticket holders) gets a World Finals spot.
China Qualifier: In a separate competition for Chinese players, the winner enters the World Finals.
Third-Party Leaderboard: Another spot is reserved for a third-party leaderboard topper.
Through this qualification format, 8 players will set their foot on the podium where they fight each other’s deck, and one with the skill and quality to beat them all will be crowned as the Champion of CRL 2024.
Schedule, Prize Pool, and Other Details
The schedule of the Monthly Qualifier is set for April–August, but the details regarding the Grand Finale schedule are yet to be announced. It will be announced through the social media handles of Clash Royale Esports. Details regarding the prize pool of the league are still unknown, but looking back at the CRL 2023, the winner, “Mugi,” won $25000, and the runner-up of the league got $125,000. Other candidates in the world finals got at least $20,000 and more. The number of participants is low this year, so we can expect the total prize pool to be reduced or stay the same.
If you are thinking about participating in the league, then you must know the deck requirements beforehand. You need one maxed deck and eight evolutions (two for each of the four duel decks) to compete in the PoL season.
