Ubisoft has recently launched this new game. It became available on February 19, 2024, and can be downloaded on both Android and iOS platforms. Following a specific release in November 2023, during which only Android users in Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines were allowed to download the game, today marks the global release!
What is Invincible: Guarding the Globe?
Invincible: Guarding the Globe is a free-to-play idle role-playing game inspired by the comics of Robert Kirkman and the Invincible Amazon TV series. However, it takes place in a universe different from that of the comics or TV series. While the characters remain the same, the game introduces a whole new storyline exclusive to itself.
The basic idea of the game combines the narrative aspect of powerful characters like Omni-man, Atom Eve, and the Immortal with the idle RPG gaming mechanics. In terms of narrative, the game assigns you the role of an agent of the Global Defence Agency, tasking you with recruiting Invincible: Heroes and Villains. You must deploy your units with favourable matchups to defeat any enemy, including your unit’s super-powered clones.
Gameplay & Features
The gameplay revolves around creating a perfect and compatible team from a pool of available characters. The better the team, the better the outcome of any match. Equip and upgrade gears of different categories—chest wear, leg wear, footwear, and gloves—to improve the character’s stats. As in a typical RPG, you are also allowed to deploy characters from different classes, such as attackers, defenders, and supports, depending on the enemies you encounter.
The game introduces a unique multi-battle system, allowing you to fight multiple battles simultaneously. This system lets you manage different battles at the same time without compromising the rewards achieved from each battle. Additionally, you can enjoy the online co-op mode with your friends, clearing waves of enemies together.
Furthermore, the game also features a secondary battle system known as GDA OPS, which isn’t connected to the main storyline. Progress in the game continues even when you are away from it, similar to most idle games. So, hop onto the App Store, Play Store, and Amazon Appstore. and give this game a try.
