Krafton has released the February update of New State Mobile, which brings lots of new features and modes to excite the fans. A new mode called “New Era,” which introduces some unique characters, and a “JETA” map are the standout things from the update. New Mode, “New Era”
Get ready for a fresh battle royale experience in New State Mobile’s “NEW ERA” update! Dive into fast-paced action with unique characters boasting powerful abilities, soar through the air with jetpacks, and dominate the battlefield with enhanced aim assist on the new 1x1km map, JETA.
The New Era brings shorter-duration matches to make the battle more intense and exciting. The players will have to play this mode only in the squad, and they will not be able to change the perspective as it is fixed to TPP only for this new mode.
New Map “JETA” and Session Rules
JETA is the new map introduced in the NEW ERA update for New State Mobile. It’s a 1×1 km artificial island designed for fast-paced, close-quarters combat. Because of its small size, there are no vehicles present on the map. JETA Boxes, scattered throughout the map, offer instant access to a massive arsenal.
As already mentioned above, this mode can only be played in a squad and from a third-person perspective. Along with this, the matches are quick and decisive, lasting around 10 minutes. Get ready for the Blue Zone, which tightens the battlefield over six phases. Other rules are the same as in the Battle Royale.
Unique Items and Characters
This update brings some unique items like Jetpack and Plasma Shield, along with five new characters, which we will further talk about.
Jetpack: Every character in the New Era mode will have a jetpack, letting you dash in the direction you’re moving. It charges up slowly (1 every 8 seconds, max 2 charges) and lets you shoot and use skills, but aiming down sights and throwing grenades are off-limits. Take flight and dominate the battlefield!
Plasma Shield: Brace yourself for extra defense! The NEW ERA mode introduces plasma shields, found in loot and care packages. These shields come in four ranks (rare to legendary), offering stronger protection with a higher rarity. They recharge after a short break, but players can only upgrade to a higher rank, not replace their current one. Remember, different guns inflict varying damage on these shields, so choose your weapon wisely!
The characters present in this mode are Sam Berry of the New State Faction, Shy-D of the Dream Runner Faction, Blocker of the GLC Faction, Maria Gayle of the Mayhem Faction, RED from the Project Justice Factio, and Dante of the Dream Runner Faction. These characters will be equipped with a variety of unique skills and abilities.
