What Is Valorant Mobile?
Valorant Mobile is a mobile version of the popular PC game Valorant. Developed by Riot Games, Valorant is a tactical FPS game for both Android and iOS. The PC version of the game was released in 2020, and just three years later, they announced a mobile version of this game, which is going to be named Valorant Mobile.
While we wait for the game to be released, it is for sure that the game is going to be very similar to its PC version, including all its game modes, features, and weapons. However, according to some sources, it is believed that they will include some extra features and maps in the mobile version of the game.
Gameplay
It is very early to talk about its gameplay since the developers have been quiet regarding it and have said that the game is not going to be released very early. But we can assume that the game might be similar to the other FPS games but with a Valorant touch.
The controls of the game will be pretty simple so that mobile users can get the full experience of the game. With a joystick on the left side and other buttons on the right, you will be able to control your character easily. The PC version of the game has remarkable graphics and engaging gameplay; let’s hope that they do the same in the mobile version as well.
Leaks So Far
In the recently closed beta test of the game in China, we got lots of information and leaks as well. It is said that there will be new characters and maps added to the Valorant Mobile. There is also a rumor that will shock you if you use a console while playing mobile games. Valorant Mobile will not support any controllers as they are releasing the game for the console separately.

Early Access And Release Date
The release date for the game has not been announced yet, as it is currently in development. Also, the game will be released for both Android and iOS. The developers have assured fans that they are working to deliver the best possible experience on mobile, which suggests that the release might not happen anytime soon, possibly not until 2024. As of now, there is no official news regarding the pre-registration process.
However, the developers have taken the game for testing in China, making it available to a limited number of users for initial development testing. The testing was done in the month of April 2023, and there isn’t any news about the early access or the test in other parts of the world. It looks like the developers will be rolling out only testing modes in other countries before making it available on the Play Store or App Store globally.
In an exclusive interview with One Esports with the Executive Producer of Valorant, “Anna Donlon,” when asked about the expected release date of the game, she answered, “We just don’t want to put Valorant on mobile if it doesn’t work right and if it isn’t as great of an experience as we think we can provide,” said Donlon. “So I think that’s taken longer than we’d hoped to make it feel really good, but it’s still in development and something we’re really excited about.”
From that, we can say that the game isn’t going to be released anytime soon, hopefully till next year. But they will put the game out for Beta testing for very limited users in some time.
Requirements
We don’t know much about the Valorant Mobile yet, so it’s hard to predict its exact requirements. However, we think the PC version of the game will be designed to run on even low-end computers. The mobile version will likely be the same, aiming to reach a large audience, including users with less powerful devices.
For Android, it might need at least 4GB of RAM and Android 7 or newer. On iOS, it may require a minimum of 2GB of RAM and work on iOS 11 or higher.
